Nick Bellanca is a Vice President of Employee Health & Benefits at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA). He specializes in healthcare plan design, benefits and total rewards consulting for employer groups. With 18 years in the industry, Nick leverages data analytics, benefits education and engagement to deliver creative solutions that help employers attract and retain talent while containing costs.
Prior to joining MMA, Nick was a founding member of Genomic Life, and led their group benefits division. While at Genomic Life, he helped create their unique Cancer Guardian program, designed their go-to market strategy and led their national sales efforts in the employer market. Nick also spent 12 years at Unum as an award winning large employer group specialist, focused on Disability, Absence Management, Life Insurance, and Voluntary Benefits.
Nick earned his B.A. in Accounting from the University of San Diego. He is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS). He is also a member of the RAD Collective, Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO), National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Nick has been featured by Leader’s Edge magazine and named a Top 40 Under 40 by the San Diego Business Journal. He has been a guest speaker at Biocom, CIAB, Employee Benefits Forum & Expo, Workplace Benefits Renaissance and other industry events on the topic of benefits innovation and personalized healthcare.
